There is a new all-inclusive multi sports club starting at The Hub on Tuesday.
The club is designed to cater for young people with disabilities and get them involved in a wide range of sports and activities.
It will run from 6pm to 7pm on Tuesday evenings and is aimed at ages 5-16 years, costing £2 per session (first session is free).
Activities and education officer Michael Noon, who is involved with organising and running the sessions, said: “It’s a fantastic opportunity for young people with disabilities to come down and use our all-inclusive facilities with their friends and family.
“We work in partnership with North Derbyshire Disability Sports Network and we’ll be offering a variety of different sports each week and lots of activities creating a really fun and enjoyable environment.”
Some of the sports taking place at the first session will be sitting volleyball, table cricket and boccia.
