Chesterfield keeper Aaron Chapman has joined Accrington Stanley on loan for two months.
Commenting on the decision to let the 24-year-old move out on a temporary basis, Chesterfield manager Paul Cook said: “We feel it is important for Aaron to gain valuable first-team experience and he’ll get that at Accrington.”
The 6’8” stopper joined Chesterfield from non-league Belper Town in May 2013 and had a spell on loan at Chester last season. He made his debut for the Spireites as a substitute in the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy tie at Scunthorpe United earlier this month.
Chapman is in contention to make his debut for Accrington in their game at home to Plymouth Argyle on Saturday. He will remain with the Sky Bet League 2 club until November 19.
