The matchday experience at the Proact is set to be improved significantly with the installation of a superb new 30sqm video screen.
Supplied by Messagemaker Displays Ltd and sited between the Spencers Solicitors Stand and the Rubicon Stand, the video screen will replace the club’s current scoreboard in early December.
As well as showing the score and time during the match, it will allow video packages to be shown as part of the pre-match build-up and feature match highlights at half-time.
Spireites sales & marketing manager Kevin Fitzgerald is delighted to have agreed the package. He said: “We are really pleased to be linking up with Harry and Tony at Messagemaker. Throughout the whole process of looking for a digital screen partner, they ticked every box and were a real joy to work with.
"We are working together on exploring other avenues that will not only benefit the club financially but also enhance the whole matchday experience for all the supporters. We hope to make another exciting announcement in the coming weeks, so watch this space.”
Harry Filer, managing director of Messagemaker Displays, said: “After 20 successful years in the LED screen industry, Messagemaker are thrilled at our newly-signed partnership with Chesterfield FC.
“The Proact Stadium is a fantastic, modern venue and we are discussing a number of ways our digital screen technology can enhance the matchday experience for supporters and sponsors. We are also looking forward to some further exciting announcements with the Spireites early next year.”
