Following on from Monday's victory in the FA Youth Cup, Mark Smith and his young Spireites are back in league action on Saturday.
The Chesterfield youth side will travel up to Hartlepool United this weekend, and preparations for the fixture are well under way.
Smith said: "As we prepare for the Hartlepool game, they should be well drilled in what they are doing. I know it was an FA Cup tie on Monday, but we used it as just another game. We go in to every game expecting to win and give a very good account of ourselves."
"We're trying to get the players into good habits, so as soon as the last game finished, they're looking forward to the next game.
"The performances up until now mean that we're gearing up to something on Saturday which should be positive rather than negative."
Due to the tie against Stocksbridge Park Steels on Monday evening, which the Spireites won 4-1, the training schedule for the youth team has been altered slightly over the past week.
Smith said: "Training has been a bit disrupted to be fair. We had a game the following day, but I've been missing for a couple of days, so it has been a bit disjointed.
"I have to thank coaches Darren Malloy and Matt Whitehouse because they have helped and they've kept the lads ticking over."
