Tickets for Saturday’s Sky Bet League One clash with rivals Barnsley are no longer available to buy online, however they remain on sale over the phone or in person at the Proact Stadium ticket office.
The move takes place after Barnsley sold out their away allocation for the fixture.
The decision comes as Chesterfield look to avoid similar circumstances to those at the Sheffield United game this season, when away fans were able to purchase tickets in home areas of the stadium.
Any Barnsley fan found to have purchased a ticket in the home area will be refused entry to the stadium.
The club thanks supporters for their understanding.
