The deadline for the 'early bird' season ticket offer is nearing with supporters having until Friday to take advantage of the discount.Club officials have been delighted with the response since season tickets went on sale with an impressive number of new season ticket holders signing up.
The option to pay for season tickets via a finance agreement has proved to be very popular, although a compliance issue has unfortunately arisen, raised by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA).
The finance is being offered by Zebra Finance, but the club still has to comply with certain financial regulations. The relevant forms have been submitted to the FCA and authorisation now has to be received before the applications can be forwarded to Zebra Finance. In the meantime, Zebra Finance cannot add Chesterfield to the list of clubs on their website.
Director and company secretary Ashley Carson has urged supporters paying via finance to complete the relevant form and apply for season tickets. He said: "Once the authorisation has been approved, the applications will be processed.
"The FCA has been most supportive and they will process the documentation as soon as possible. I would like to thank supporters for their patience and understanding at this time."
