Manager Paul Cook has thanked the players who have left the club since the end of the season.Marc Richards has agreed to join Northampton Town and Nathan Smith is moving to Yeovil Town while Jamie Deviit and Jacob Hazel have signed for Morecambe and FC United of Manchester respectively. Sam Togwell and Matty Brown, who were also released, are looking for new clubs.
Cook said: "I'd like to wish all the lads who've left the best of luck and thank them for their contribution. They have all played a part in what we've achieved here and I would hope that whenever any of them play against us in the future, they will receive a good reception from our fans."
The signing of left-back Daniel Jones has already been confirmed and FC United of Manchester central defender Charlie Raglan is also joining the Spireites.
Following the departure of six players, Cook is planning to bring in some other new faces. "We're now in the process of rebuilding the squad for our League 1 campaign and we're talking to some of the players on our list," he said.
