Chesterfield chief executive Chris Turner has praised the Portsmouth fans who attended Monday's game at the Proact Stadium.Over 500 supporters travelled from the south coast to watch their team play in the televised goal-less draw and their backing impressed Turner.
"The Portsmouth fans were a credit to their club," said Turner. "Their behaviour was impeccable and they made a lot of noise, helping to generate a great atmosphere inside the stadium.
"I think that support like that should be acknowledged. We also have great away support, of course, which really does make a difference."
