Chesterfield travel to the Crown Ground to take on Accrington Stanley in their 35th fixture of the 2013/14 Sky Bet League 2 season.
Stanley are currently 22nd in the League 2 table having taken 37 points from 33 games, losing 2-1 to Burton Albion in their last outing at the Pirelli Stadium.
Five points from their last six games has left the Lancashire side just four points clear of 23rd place Northampton Town and the League 2 relegation zone.
Chesterfield approach Saturday's game on the back of a 0-0 draw with Portsmouth at the Proact Stadium on Monday night. Neither side could find a way through during Chesterfield's first live televised game of the 2013/14 season.
The draw meant Paul Cook's side extended their lead at the top of the Sky Bet League 2 table to two points and created a six-point gap between the Spireites and fourth place Burton Albion.
These sides meet for the second time in the league this season after Chesterfield prevailed 1-0 in the September meeting at the Proact Stadium. An early second half goal from Tendayi Darikwa proved enough to separate the sides and award the hosts all three points.
Victory for Chesterfield on Saturday could see them take a five-point lead over the the chasing teams depending on results elsewhere. However, third place Rochdale travel to Gigg Lane on Friday night with the opportunity to take first place from the Spireites with a win over Bury.
Stanley are without full back Nicky Hunt, who is suspended for two matches following his tenth yellow card of the season.
Laurence Wilson returns to the equation after serving his three match ban.
Drew Talbot remains sidelined as he recovers from the abductor injury that has kept him out of action for a number of weeks.
Accrington Stanley: 3/1 Draw: 23/10 Chesterfield: 17/20
