Chesterfield FC Supporters Club is delighted to be able to say that the builders of the proposed Memorial Garden have now been engaged.
The Memorial Garden will be a space where former supporters, players and management can be remembered.
It is hoped that work will begin the week after Tom Jones has appeared here at the Proact with completion being targeted as August 4, 2014 - the 100th anniversary of the start of the First World War. The one small issue to overcome is that the fund is still well short of money!
A total of £35,000 is needed to fully complete the project. There will be a bucket collection at the next home game against Newport County and supporters are also encouraged to donate via text - please note the number on the image.
Donations can also be left at the club - just ensure they are clearly marked as Memorial Garden funds.
