Steve Jenkinson, a season ticket holder for over ten years, will be making an extra effort to get to the Johnstone's Paint Trophy final this weekend.
Steve missed the 2-0 victory over Swindon Town in the final two years ago due to being on holiday in Sri Lanka, watching the England cricket team.
Having booked a holiday to Tenerife this time, Steve was disappointed at the prospect of missing out again so he went online to see how he could fit in a return to Wembley.
He explained: "I've booked a flight at 6am on Sunday from Tenerife. From Luton, I'll get transport to London and head up to the ground where I'll meet up with my mates."
After the game, Steve plans to come back to Chesterfield and stop overnight at his home in Hasland before flying out again. "I'll take the 7.30am flight from East Midlands Airport back to Tenerife and spend the rest of my holiday with my wife," added the 52-year-old.
Your dedication is appreciated, Steve. We hope you have an understanding wife!
