Leeds United visit the Proact on Saturday for Chesterfield's opening home pre-season friendly.

Manager Paul Cook is looking forward to welcoming the West Yorkshire side. He said: "Any game with Leeds is always going to be a huge match due to the long history and traditions that come with such a famous club.

"We'll be intent on showing our best against a team that I hope will soon be back where they belong among the game's biggest names."

The match will help shape plans for the big kick-off. "It's so important that over the next couple of games against Leeds and Aston Villa we iron out the finer details of how we want to play before our opening fixture at Leyton Orient," added Cook.

It will be a strong Spireites line-up with one or two triallists also set to turn out.

Admission to the match is £15 for adults and £7 for concessions.

A programme featuring a pull-out fixture list in the middle will be on sale for just £1.
