Community Trust Junior Awards

The Chesterfield FC Community Trust Junior Awards will be presented at an event next month.

The prestigious ceremony will be held at the Proact Stadium on August 28 (11am to 1pm), following a strictly monitored process of nominating, judging, short-listing and selecting a winner for each category.

The awards recognise the hard work and commitment that participants show in activities the Trust delivers around North Derbyshire. These activities are based around the Trust's core aims of health, education, inclusion and sports participation.

The awards will promote the self-esteem and well-being of the thousands of young people the Trust engages with every year and will embrace the partnerships that make its work a success.

The award categories are as follows:
  • Male participant, sponsored by Spire Workwear
  • Female participant, sponsored by Highlander IT
  • Chesterfield Saturday Morning Club Mini-Kickers U-7s & Over-7s, sponsored by Club Taxis
  • After School Club Player, sponsored by Penny Hydraulics
  • Safe Hands Goalkeeper of the Year, sponsored by Keeping Safe Project
  • Disability Player of the Year (available for sponsorship)
  • Chester's Young Fan of the Year (sponsored by Frederick's of Chesterfield)
  • School Partner of the Year (sponsored by Chesterfield College)
  • Most Improved Player (sponsored by Redwood Financial Services)
  • Fairplay/Respect Award, sponsored by Mascot Management
  • Mini Spireites, ABC Award (available for sponsorship)
Nomination forms will be available soon and details of how to make nominations will be announced.
