Chesterfield travel to Sixfields Stadium to take on Northampton Town in their 27th fixture of the 2013/14 Sky Bet League 2 season.
The Cobblers are currently 24th in the League 2 table having taken 22 points from 25 games, drawing 2-0 at home to York City in their last outing at Sixfields Stadium.
Northampton have struggled to find form of late, winning just one of their last six games and taking just nine points from their last ten.
After their poor start to the season, Aidy Boothroyd was relieved of his managerial position in late December leaving Andy King to take temporary charge of the club while Northampton search for a new manager.
The Spireites approach this fixture on the back of a 2-2 draw with Rochdale at the Proact Stadium on Tuesday - Two stoppage time goals from Ian Henderson and Peter Vincenti cancelled out earlier strikes from Gary Roberts and Marc Richards to send the sides home level.
The point took Paul Cook's side to fourth place in the League 2 table, three points behind leaders Scunthorpe and with a game in hand over second-place Rochdale.
These sides meet for the second time in the league this season after a goalless draw at the Proact Stadium in late November. Chesterfield were originally due to travel to Northampton on New Year's Day but heavy rain at Sixfields Stadium left the pitch waterlogged and the game had to be postponed.
Drew Talbot was brought off at half-time during Chesterfield's midweek draw with Rochdale and will be unavailable for Saturday's trip to Northampton as a result of the injury.
Nathan Smith picked up a minor injury against Dale and will not be in the starting eleven at Sixfields Stadium. However, the full-back is likely to feature on the bench.
Northampton Town: 11/4 Draw: 13/5 Chesterfield: 10/11
Skybet have Chesterfield as favourites going into Saturday's game but believe the home side have a chance of taking something from the game.
