Manager Paul Cook has spoken of his disappointment following the postponement of Chesterfield's game at Northampton Town today.
The match was called-off this morning due to a waterlogged pitch following a pitch inspection.
After learning of the decision, Cook said: "I am very disappointed because I was really looking forward to the game.
"I felt that we had a good chance of winning. Gary Roberts was due to start and Sam Morsy would have been on the bench.
"Ian Evatt and Sam Hird would also have served their suspensions so that is another thing to take into account.
"While we are disappointed, we respect the referee's decision. We now look forward to Saturday's game at Cheltenham."
