Experienced keeper Ian Dunbavin will remain on loan at Chesterfield from Accrington Stanley until the end of the season.

Dunbavin, who joined the Spireites on an emergency loan at the start of January as cover for Tommy Lee, has now agreed to stay at the Proact Stadium until the end of the campaign.

It has been agreed that the 33-year-old will not be allowed to play in Chesterfield's game at Accrington on March 8. The deal can be extended if the Spireites are involved in the play-offs.

Manager Paul Cook said: "We are delighted to have secured Ian's services as he is a very good, experienced goalkeeper. He's also a great character who has become very popular in the dressing room in a short space of time."
