Chesterfield will host Rochdale on Tuesday night in their 26th fixture of the 2013/14 League 2 campaign.
The Spireites approach Tuesday's game on the back of a 3-0 defeat at the hands of promotion rivals Southend United on Saturday, Chesterfield's first loss since Saturday, December 1.
The defeat at Roots Hall meant Paul Cook's side slipped to fifth place in the Sky Bet League 2 table but with a game in hand over the teams above them. Despite Saturday's result, Chesterfield have been in strong form of late, taking 18 points from their last ten league games.
Rochdale come into Tuesday's game following back-to-back 3-0 victories over Hartlepool United and Plymouth Argyle. The Greater Manchester side have taken 17 points from their last ten league games and are currently second in the Sky Bet League 2 table.
Chesterfield and Rochdale meet for the third time this season: The sides shared a point after a thrilling 2-2 draw in the League 2 fixture at Spotland Stadium in August before the Spireites knocked Dale out of the Johnstone's Paint Trophy following an emphatic 3-0 victory at the Proact Stadium in November.
The Spireites have a fully fit and available squad to choose from going into Tuesday's game.
"They're a good side, the best side in the league, the best squad in the league, the best budget in the league but that doesn't guarantee that they're going to finish in the top three.
"The pressure's firmly on Chesterfield and I'm really looking forward to the fixture."
Chesterfield: 21/20 Draw: 12/5 Rochdale: 5/2
Sky Bet have Chesterfield as favourites going into Tuesday's game but believe the away side have every chance of taking something from the game.
