Ben Parkinson Attending Match

10 January 2014

Sponsored by

Lance Bombardier Ben Parkinson MBE will be attending the game against Bury in his role as an ambassador patron for the Pilgrim Bandits.

Ben, who suffered the loss of both legs and brain injuries during the Afghan Conflict in 2006, will be a guest of Andy Dukelow, managing director of match sponsors Franke Sissons Ltd.

There will be a collection to raise funds for Pilgrim Bandits - a charity that pushes amputee service men and women from all the forces 'a little further' through particularly extreme challenges.

Also in attendance at the match will be a number of officers and NCOs from 2nd Battalion The Mercian Regiment, who will be presented to the crowd at half-time.

A large number of the regiment are from Chesterfield and as such are proud to be associated with the club.

The match ball sponsor is SBK Computers Ltd.
