Walters Leaves Chesterfield Board

Alan Walters has resigned from the board of Chesterfield FC with immediate effect.

Walters, who became a director of the club in 2001, has also resigned from his position as club secretary.

John Waining has been appointed as the club's new company account while director Ashley Carson, who joined the board five years ago, has taken on the role of company secretary.

Waining, 28, works for Lindrick Accountancy Services in Sheffield. He has over 12 years' experience in accounting practice, working with a broad range of clients.
