After spending just under a year with the Chesterfield media team, sports journalism student and lifelong Spireites fan Luke Ingram has landed a job with League 1 side Oldham Athletic.The 21-year-old is in the final year of his degree at the University of Huddersfield and has spent the last ten months assisting in the Proact Stadium press room with the Inspire match day programme and has travelled home and away with the Spireites match day coverage team.
Ingram takes up his role as website editor at Boundary Park immediately and will see out the remainder of the 2013/14 season with the Greater Manchester side.
Speaking about his new job and looking back his time at the Proact Stadium, Luke said: "I would like to thank everyone at Chesterfield for the help they have given to me over the past ten months.
"It's been a great experience and it has helped me get a job with Oldham Athletic. I want to give special thanks to Nick Johnson and Josh Power for guiding me along the way.
"Chesterfield is a great club for university undergraduates to go and learn. It's very hands on and it has been a pleasure to work with all the staff."
Everyone at the Proact Stadium would like to thank Luke for his hard work over the last ten months and wish him well in his new role at the Latics.
