Over 150 people were in attendance on Thursday night as Storage Hunters star Jesse McClure visited the Proact Stadium for a night of fun, frolics and entertainment.

Hosted by the club's head of media, Nick Johnson, Jesse entered the Leengates Legends Lounge to a thunderous round of applause before personally greeting the guests, posing for photos and signing autographs.

This was followed by questions taken from the floor in which Jesse revealed many secrets from behind the camera of the hit reality TV show, Storage Hunters.

A very special Storage Hunters secret auction hosted by the star of the night took place before a raffle was drawn with signed merchandise and photos of the cast of the show up for grabs.

Live music was provided by Russ & The Fox and each member of the audience went home happy when they were all given  a personally signed colour photo of the man himself.

Chesterfield’s sales & marketing manager, Kevin Fitzgerald, said of the evening: “It was a successful and very entertaining night for the club on more than one front. Over 90% of the audience said that it was the first time that they had visited the Proact Stadium to attend a non-matchday event and everyone was very impressed with the facilities and entertainment on offer. We hope to see them again at future events.”

Other All-Star Events at the Proact already confirmed include a sporting dinner with ex-Wales international Dean Saunders on Monday, February 2 and a quiz-based event offering fans of The Chase a chance to take on Mark 'The Beast' Labbett on Friday, February 27.
