Iain Pearce has been appointed as the club's new digital media editor, replacing Josh Power who left on Friday to take up a media role at Wolverhampton Wanderers.Iain, who spent some time on work experience at the Proact last season, is a Sheffield Hallam University Sports Journalism graduate. Commenting on his appointment, he said: "Working with Chesterfield in the second half of last season gave me a glimpse of what a wonderful club it is.
"I am delighted to be joining the club and I will be doing my utmost to maintain the standards set by Josh, in order to provide supporters with the best possible coverage."
Nick Johnson, the club's head of media & communications, said: "Iain impressed when he helped out last season and I had no hesitation in offering him the chance to take on the digital media role when Josh announced his departure.
"Josh has done an excellent job and I would like to thank him for his hard work and dedication in his time with us. He is a boyhood Wolves fan so it is an ideal opportunity for him to further his career at Molineux and I wish him all the best for the future."
Josh, who was presented with a signed shirt as a farewell gift, said: "I've really enjoyed my time with Chesterfield. It's a great club from top to bottom and I feel very fortunate to have spent time here.
"I would like to thank Nick Johnson and Chris Turner for providing me with such a great opportunity. I would also like to wish Iain Pearce the best of luck in his new role."
