One of Chesterfield's most famous nightclubs is making a return to help launch a new book.
Sheffield Road's Aquarius dominated the town's nightscene from the day it opened in 1972.
The palatial cabaret and disco brought acts to the town night owls could only ever dream of prior to its unveiling.
Interest in the Aquarius has been rekindled thanks to its inclusion in the new 'Dirty Stop Out's Guide to 1970s Chesterfield' book.
The title contains scores of rare Aquarius photos and interviews with staff and punters.
The Aquarius event takes place on Saturday, October 4th at the Proact Stadium and offers DJs, guests and more. Tickets are £7.50 each and the event will be raising money for Ashgate Hospice.
Tickets can be purchased from www.acmretro.com and the Proact Stadium box office on 01246 209765 ext: 4162.
