The opportunity to pay for season tickets by monthly instalments has been welcomed by fans who would prefer to not make a lump sum payment.
For the first time, Chesterfield fans have been given the option to spread the cost of paying for season tickets by making ten monthly payments in a credit agreement with Zebra Finance.
David Hall and his daughter Kayleigh from Bolsover were the first supporters to take advantage of the monthly payment option.
David went to the ticket office at the Proact Stadium with his wife Dawn as soon as they heard about the scheme. Dawn said: “We read on the club website that you can now pay by direct debit so we thought we’d come down at the first opportunity to buy them. The lady in the ticket office was very helpful so it was very easy to do.
“They’ve wanted to have a season ticket for years and they couldn’t afford it all in one go so paying for it this way makes it easier and they can actually attend matches now.
“My husband had a season ticket once before but then he lost his job so he couldn’t get another one. My daughter came with him to one match and loved it so she wanted to have a season ticket.”
The small additional cost associated with the finance agreement can be off-set by taking advantage of the ‘early bird’ discount offer, which applies to purchases made by May 16.
Anyone who would like to pay for a season ticket by monthly instalments should visit www.zebrafinance.co.uk or call in at the ticket office at the Proact Stadium for assistance.
