Sam Togwell has been recalled from his loan spell at Wycombe Wanderers while Mason Bennett has returned to Derby County.
Both loans were set to finish on Saturday but manager Paul Cook and his Derby counterpart Steve McClaren have ended the loans early after seeing their respective squads depleted by injury problems.
Togwell, who made three starts and one appearance as a substitute for the Chairboys, returns to strengthen the midfield department now that Ollie Bank has been ruled-out for the rest of the season.
Bennett made one full appearance for the Spireites - playing in the 1-0 win at home to Morecambe - and featured as a substitute on four occasions. One of his appearances off the bench came in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy final at Wembley.
Cook said: "We felt it was necessary to bring Sam Togwell back to the club now that Ollie is out. I'd like to thank Steve McClaren for allowing Mason Bennett to spend time with us. Mason is a great lad with a bright future and we wish him well for the future."
