Spireites Striker, Eoin Doyle, was delighted to make his first league start of the season in the weekend win at fellow promotion chasers Oxford United and said that the players fear no one.
Doyle, who had impressed in previous weeks when coming on as a substitute, got his chance in the starting 11 after Marc Richards suffered a thigh strain in training on Friday. The Irishman, who set up Ritchie Humphreys' winning goal was pleased to start the game and said that no matter who they face the team will always be aiming to win the game.
He said: “I think that we are good enough to go and win any game, anywhere this season.
“It doesn't matter if we are home or away, I think that we are always going to be playing for the win and for the three points.”
The former Hibernian man revealed that all the players in the squad are chomping at the bit to play and that the competition for places is a good thing for the club.
“The whole 18 or 20 of us in the squad believe that we should be in the starting 11 and it's a good way to be, everyone is always hungry and will always give 100% when we get the chance.”
The frontman said that he was looking forward to Saturday's game against local rivals Mansfield Town and was confident that the lads could get the three points.
“It's a big match and these are the type of games that you want to be involved in, I'm sure that if we apply ourselves on the day and prepare well in the week we can get the three points.”
