Car Park Safety Reminder

18 October 2013

Supporters using the club car park are reminded of the terms and conditions of vehicle entry into the car park, as printed on the reverse of the parking permit.

In particular, paragraph four, which states: “After matches, pedestrians, buses and coaches will be allowed to clear the site before cars may leave.” This could take up to 30 minutes, but stewards may release cars earlier, if and when instructed by the safety officer.

Unfortunately, due to a number of recent “near miss”  incidents between vehicles and pedestrians, it is necessary to exert tighter control, and restrict vehicle movements, around the stadium.

Failure to carry out the instruction of a steward may result in the withdrawal of the parking permit.

Supporters are also reminded that they should not stand during matches. Complaints have been received from some supporters about their view being obstructed by people in front of them standing.
Co-operation regarding both matters would be appreciated.
