18 October 2013

Chesterfield will host Burton Albion on Saturday afternoon in their twelfth fixture of the 2013/14 League 2 campaign.

The Spireites will be looking to continue the strong start to the season having taken 23 points from their opening 11 games, drawing at Fleetwood Town in their last outing at Highbury Stadium.

The 1-1 draw last weekend kept Chesterfield at the top of the League 2 table, 13 places and eight points above Saturday's opponents, Burton Albion.

The Brewers approach this match having taken just four points from six games, including a 1-0 home defeat to Southend United in last weekend's fixture.

In the last fixture between Chesterfield and Burton Albion at the Proact Stadium, the spoils were shared after a late Marc Richards equaliser cancelled out a 34th minute strike from Jacques Maghoma.

Team News

After a number of squad-stretching injuries in recent weeks, all Chesterfield players are match fit and available for selection.

Gary Roberts has also served the last game of his three-match ban and can feature in Saturday's game.
