Chesterfield travel to Plainmoor to take on Torquay United in their 16th fixture of the 2013/14 Sky Bet League 2 season.
The Gulls are currently 21st in the League 2 table having taken 14 points from their opening 15 fixtures, defeating Bury 3-1 in their last league outing at Gigg Lane.
The Devon side faced Rochdale in the first round of the FA Cup at Plainmoor last Saturday where two late goals from Scott Hogan and Peter Vincenti were enough to award Dale with victory.
Torquay have struggled in the league this year having won only two of their last ten games, leaving them just three points above the relegation zone.
Chesterfield approach this fixture on the back of a 3-0 win over Rochdale in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy at the Proact Stadium earlier this week.
After enjoying back-to-back wins in all competitions, the Spireites are currently on a five-game unbeaten streak and will be looking to continue their strong form at Torquay on Saturday.
The Gulls last hosted Chesterfield in March this year, where a late Liam Cooper goal wasn't enough to overturn two early strikes from Joss Labadie and Rene Howe.
Ben Harding (foot) has been missing from the Gulls side since their game against York City and will not be available for Saturday's game.
Billy Bodin will miss out on the fixture and Dale Tonge's (knee) availability is questionable.
Lee Mansell has not featured in training this week but is expected to line-up against Chesterfield.
Sam Morsy (knee) and Nathan Smith (ankle) are still both suffering from long-term injuries and will not feature.
Gary McSheffrey has a slight problem with his hip flexer and will be rested as a precautionary measure.
Torquay United: 12/5 Draw: 12/5 Chesterfield: 11/10
Skybet have Chesterfield as slight favourites going into Saturday's game but believe the home side have every chance of taking something from the game.
