Chesterfield travel to Rodney Parade to take on Newport County in their 19th fixture of the 2013/14 Sky Bet League 2 season.

Chesterfield have not faced Newport County since the club was reformed in 1989. However, the Spireites faced Newport in its old entity 34 times and have only drawn with the Welsh side once.
