Sally Swain has been named as Chesterfield's new football secretary following the retirement of Alan Walters.
Sally, 28, has spent 12 years with the Spireites, latterly combining working in the accounts department with her role as assistant football secretary. She started working for the club in the ticket office.
"Sally is a very capable person and I'm sure she'll bring a lot to the role," said chief executive Chris Turner.
"I enjoy working for the club and I am looking forward to my new role," said Sally.
