Spireites youngster Jacob Hazel has returned from a successful loan at Norwegian side, SK Sprint-Jeløy.
The 19-year-old found the goal 17 times in 14 appearances but unfortunately his side missed out on the league title by just a point.
Having returned from his loan spell, Hazel said: “I absolutely loved it and would recommend it to any young player who isn’t around the first team picture at the moment.
“You get a new life experience abroad and it’s not just about the football, it’s good to learn about the different cultures.
“The way things are done are a lot different too, it’s good to get the experience in whilst I’m young because I’m not settled with a family, so it gives me a chance to see the world.”
Under the terms of the loan agreement between the two clubs, Hazel isn’t allowed to play for the Spireites until January, but he’s hoping to be involved when he’s back.
He added: “I want to get my head down here now, work hard and try get in the manager’s plans in January. Chris Turner and the manager are looking to get something sorted but hopefully I can get back in and I can only try and get on and do my best.
“There is nothing better than playing and it’s done my confidence a world of good. I want to get back in now and settle back in.”
