The explosive winger made a successful return to action off the bench in mid-week, and it set to continue his recovery by being involved against Bristol.
Darikwa came on in the final 10 minutes against the Robins and has suffered no setbacks, joining in training with the rest of the squad ahead of Saturday's game.
The 21-year-old missed five games after an operation on a double hernia but now looks to have put that behind him.
Manager Paul Cook is delighted to have the Nottingham-born winger back but insists that he'll need to show caution when reintroducing him into the first-team picture.
He said: “This is his [Tendayi Darikwa first training week as such now and he’s come through that 10 minutes at Cheltenham.
“The likelihood is that he’ll be on the bench again to start on Saturday, come on, influence the game and then he’s good to go.
“We’re doing well in terms of bodies and numbers. We’ve got good selection, people to pick from, but we just need them goals."
