French trialist Hendrick Cakin was among the scorers as the Spireites beat Lincoln City 3-1 in a private practice match with Gary Roberts and Eoin Doyle also finding the net.
Cakin is a right-side player who was previously at Toulouse. Other trialists who featured were Jamie Devitt, Conor Clifford, Ritchie Humphreys, Matt Brown, John Shaw, Michael Spillane, Rob Atkinson, Nick Fenton and Nicholas Kalakoutis, who is from Cyprus.
The game was played behind-closed-doors at the club's training ground and assistant-manager Leam Richardson felt it was a useful run-out for the players.
He said: "The lads applied themselves professionally after training really hard in the morning and the game served its purpose. It's not really a case of working on anything at the moment - that will come to the fore against Huddersfield and the games after that."
After starting their pre-season campaign with a 3-0 win at Buxton last weekend, the Spireites take on Huddersfield Town at the Proact this Saturday.
