In the third away fixture of the 2013/14 pre-season campaign, Chesterfield travel to Blue Square Premier side, Southport.

After defeating Huddersfield Town 2-1 on Saturday and drawing 1-1 with Nottingham Forest on Tuesday evening, Chesterfield are looking to continue their unbeaten pre-season run against the Sandgrounders on Saturday, July 20.

The two sides haven't faced off competitively since March 1974, where the spoils were shared in a 1-1 draw at the Merseyrail Community Stadium.

Southport come into Saturday's match on the back of a 0-1 friendly victory at Marine on Tuesday evening, Karl Ledsham winning the game for the visitors two minutes from time.

The Sandgrounders finished the 2012/13 Blue Square Premier campaign in 20th place, just four points above the relegation zone. The west-coast side will be looking to make a stronger start to the 2013/14 campaign and preparation continues in pre-season.

Saturday's match kicks-off at 3pm and ticket prices for the game are £8 for adults, £5 for concessions (over 65s / ages 12 - 18) and children under the age of 12 can enter for free.
