Paul Cook says that although he respects Saturday's visitors Southend United, they will "have their hands full".
The Shrimpers currently sit just a point above the Spireites in eighth place.
Typically Cook wasn't concerened with the opposition, insiting that if his side play to their ability then they will win.
"If we play like we did against Northampton, we'll win the game. It's not complicated. Southend have got their hands full with us," Cook said, speaking at his pre-match press conference.
"We went down there pre-Christmas and we got, in my opinion, a heavy defeat. A thoroughly deserved heavy defeat against a team that were a lot hungrier than us, had a lot more physical strength than us, and were a lot better on the night.
"We're preparing towards winning that game, that's all our focus is on, beating Southend on Saturday."
Last weekend's game against Torquay was postponed, and the weather has continued to cause problems this week.
Despite these issues, the gaffer feels that it might have done the players some good to recharge their batteries after a busy Christmas period.
He said: "The lads had a little break last weekend when the game was called off. I thought it was good after the Christmas period to give them a couple of days off and let them get back to recharging their batteries.
"We're looking forward to a game against a Southend side that will be very strong."
