Despite heavy snowfall and freezing temperatures over the weekend, the club are confident that the game against Southend United will go ahead as planned.

The snow has covered the pitch at the Proact Stadium acting as a natural insulator for the grass which is in a good enough condition hosts a game of football, providing that there is no further heavy snowfall.

There are plans in place to deal with the drop in temperature at the end of the week, and if the game was scheduled for today, the club would be happy for it to be played.
