The first Young Spireites Player of the Year function took place on Thursday April 11th in the Legends Lounge at the Proact Stadium, everyone enjoyed the buffet followed by a quiz presented by the master of ceremonies Phil Tooley.

Nathan Smith was voted the Player of the Year but was unable to attend due to having treatment on his injury so CFC coach Mark Crossley received the award on Nathan’s behalf, the award was presented by Young Spireites Kerry-Ann Alcock and Josh Turkington.

Jack Lester was presented with an engraved pewter tankard by Young Spireites member Stan Tomkinson, Jack was surprised and thanked everyone for their support over the last six years.

A big thanks to Rob Pearson of National Windscreens for sponsoring the event and Phil Tooley for hosting the afternoon.
