27 November 2012

Merseyside Police are advising Chesterfield supporters travelling to Prenton Park for Saturday's F.A Second Round clash with Tranmere Rovers by train to use Birkenhead Central station as oppose to Rock Ferry.

The stadium is approximately a 30 minute walk from Birkenhead Central station and is a more supporter-friendly route.

Ground information and directions to the stadium can be found here.

Tickets for this fixture are still available and can be purchased from the Proact Stadium ticket office, or by phoning 01246 488 232, until 12pm on Friday, November 30. All other tickets will be available from Prenton Park on the day of the game.

True Blue Travel is also available for the trip to Tranmere, at a price of £12. The coach will depart the Proact Stadium at 11:30am. Places can be booked in the Club Superstore in person or over the phone (01246 209 765).
