Lester Banned For 3 Games

18 December 2012

The Football Association have confirmed that Jack Lester will serve a three-match ban following his red card against Burton Albion at the weekend.

The striker was dismissed in the closing stages of the 1-1 draw with the Brewers for an incident involving Zander Diamond.

Lester will now miss the game against Southend on Friday night as well as the home double against York City and Morecambe.

The 37-year old is currently Chesterfield's top goalscorer, with a total of eight goals in all competitions.
