Sam Hird and Nathan Smith have been passed fit for the League Two opener at AFC Wimbledon on Saturday, August 18.
Both players were a concern following the 2-1 defeat to Tranmere in the Capital One Cup, but Sheridan has confirmed that both players are fit for the game.
Sam Hird limped off mid-way through the second half against Rovers with cramp but is back in training with the rest of the squad.
Nathan Smith played the entire 120 minutes in only his second appearance of the season, more than Sheridan would have liked.
He said: “He did well to get through the game.
“If I did have the chance I’d have probably took him off.”
“There’s one or two that are a little bit stiff but hopefully everyone will be fit.”
