The youth team recorded their second consecutive victory yesterday, with a 3-2 victory at Oldham Athletic in the EFL Youth Alliance Cup.
Miguel Llera's men lead took the lead in the 19th minute through Irish defender Conor Fowler, before the hosts levelled two minutes later.
Striker Luke Rawson scored his 7th goal in his last five games in the 23rd minute, to give the Spireites a 2-1 lead heading into the break.
Central defender Dylan Hand made it 3-1 in the 75th minute, before the Latics pulled another goal back with ten minutes remaining.
The Spireites are now waiting on results from the competitions' other groups to see if they have progressed into the next round.
Yesterday's match also saw U16 players Connor Emery and Josh Turner introduced as second half substitutes.
