Vastly experienced utility player who signed a year’s deal after a trial spell and had a further season added in the summer after playing in over 40 games in the 2013-14 League Two title campaign.

Left-sider who started out as a striker for Sheffield Wednesday before becoming a playing legend with Hartlepool United after being signed by Spireites current Chief Executive Chris Turner. 

Spent 12 years at Victoria Park, becoming Pools’ record appearance maker and their Player of the Decade. Holds a UEFA ‘A’ coaching licence and is also PFA Chairman. 

Scored his first Spireites goal, the winner in the top of the table clash at Oxford in September, just 24 hours after becoming a Dad for the second time. Reached 600 league appearances and 700 career appearances during his spell at Chesterfield.
