Lee won the Young Spireites’ Player of the Year Award in his first season with the club and won the Supporters’ Player of the Year for three consecutive seasons. He was the PFA's League Two 'keeper in their all-star team in 2010/11. Fans’ favourite who has signed a deal to keep him at the Proact Stadium until 2016.

Lee signed for Chesterfield in 2008 after a successful trial spell at the club. 

He was a schoolboy and a pro at Manchester United before moving to Macclesfield Town, initially on loan. Played in the Silkmen's great escape from relegation under Paul Ince. 

The 'keeper had a successful spell on loan at Rochdale for whom he played at Wembley in the play-off final. 

Remembered at Macclesfield for receiving a red card in a cup tie at Chelsea after he upended Andrei Shevchenko.
