A big warm welcome and a HAPPY NEW YEAR to all YOUNG SPIREITES members. Here we are at the start to a brand new year, looking forward to an exciting second half on the season. We hope you enjoyed our get-together last Friday and we hope to have another one soon.
We hope you are at Saltergate to cheer the Spireites on against of our local rivals Barnsley, who up to Christmas have had a very good run of form, so we will have to play at our best today to bet them. Lets cheer our lads on as loud as we can and make them play at their best.

ANGLO-SCOTTISH CUP
It is 25 years since Chesterfield Football Club won, YES WON!! The Anglo-Scottish Cup, beating Notts County in the final, having beaten the mighty Glasgow Rangers on the way!
On Sunday 19th March 2006, the 25th anniversary celebration of winning the cup will be held at the winding wheel in Chesterfield. Many of the playing squad from that season will attend and will speak of the memories of that achievement. There will be pie and supper and free posters! More details and tickets prices soon.
