Reminder to all YOUNG SPIREITES to bring along their football related decoration to Whittington Moor Methodist Church next Monday November 30^th at 6.30pm and help decorate the Chesterfield Football Club tree - one of the thirty five in the festival.

The blessing service is on Wednesday 2^nd December and the festival then runs from Thursday 3^rd December to Sunday 6^th December.

There will be various entertainments on every day of the festival including Gilbert Heathcote School Singers on Thursday at 2pm and on Friday at 2pm the Cavendish Junior School Singers, whilst at 7.30pm The Shirland Band will perform in aid of the BBC Radio Sheffield Kids Scanner Appeal. Saturday's entertainment includes The Caledonian Dancers and the G.S. Youth Academy with lunches served from 11.30am (turkey cobs and mince pies).

The festival is open 11am to 6pm each day with the Christingle Service starting at 10.30am on the Sunday. Charities which will benefit from the Festival will be The Samaritans and Ability.
