After a pitch inspection by the match referee there is confirmation that today's FA Cup tie against Burton Albion is definately ON, with a 3.00pm kick-off.
Due to overnight snow Burton Albion called for local volunteers to help clear the snow off the pitch at the Pirelli Stadium, along with the car park and terrace areas. Theiir hard work was rewarded when the match referee confirmed that the game could go ahead following his midday inspection.
The pitch had been covered overnight with frost covers.
With regards to tickets, following a final reconcilation at end of play Friday, there are 78 terrace tickets and 148 seated tickets being returned to Burton which are expected to go on sale at the turnstiles.
This means there will be nearly 2,000 Chesterfield fans supporting the Spireites at the Pirelli Stadium.

Tickets went on sale to season ticket holders (using Voucher A) from 9.00am Tuesday 16 November for two days.
They then went on general sale from 9.00am Thursday 18 November.

Initially there were 1451 terrace tickets and 380 seated tickets available for sale and after all the seats sold out a further supply of 200 seated tickets went on sale.
The seats are in a family area where both sets of suppporters share facilities.
