Dave BentleyThe start of the defence of our title didn't go too well, we suffered a 4-2 defeat at Doncaster Rovers. We played very well when we had the ball, I was very pleased with how we moved the ball around and, football wise, we were probably the better team, but defensively we were very poor. We gave away four silly goals, the first goal, we could've done better on the edge of our own box, but we the equalised through Jake Williams just before half-time. Young Jake's doing well at the moment.

Then in the second half, we conceded a second goal where people weren't strong enough in the tackle and the Doncaster lad broke through and put it in the top corner.

Jake Williams scored again to put us back in the game but then we lost two diabolical goals as far as I was concerned, both from crosses, one from the right and one from the left and my keeper wasn't strong and dominant and defenders haven't wanted to head the ball, so we got punished.

With the ball, I was pleased but we've got a lot of work to do this week on our defensive side in a bid to put it right for next Saturday against Lincoln City.
