In our last two pre - season games we lost 2 - 0 to Unibond Division 1 team Wakefield FC and then beat Teversal 4 -0.

At Wakefield we played some excellent football but the extra Physical strength of Wakefield proved to be the winner. Trying out a new formation the boys adapted very well and took on board the things that Mark and I have been working on.

The game at Teversal was more of a leveller as far as physical presence was concerned, we certainly played some fine football and defended as a unit much better. By half - time we were 3 - 0 up with a fine hat - trick from Jake Williams. The fourth goal was scored by skipper Richard Bull.

Our pre - season opens on the 12^th August against Doncaster Rovers (away) then on the 19^th Lincoln City are here at Saltergate 11am kick - off.
