As John Sheridan's senior side take a rare weekend off, it is business as usual for youngsters at Saltergate who travel to Darlington on Saturday.
Darlington's league form is somewhat inconsistent, as the Quakers currently lay in the bottom half of the table, with just three victories out of a possible 12.
A recent dip in form has seen Dave Bentley's side lose their last two matches, with Monday's defeat costing them a 3rd round place in the FA Youth Cup.
Afterwards, assistant manager Mark Jules confessed to Spireite Player "As a team, we played under par."
Jules suggested that the Darlington clash isn't to be taken for granted, despite the Spireites being 11 points higher in the League.
"Obviously it's going to be a tough game as it always is against Darlington, they've (Chesterfield) just got to pick themselves up really, we've performed quite well in the League, and we've got plenty of games to pick up points and we must look a head to Darlington" said Jules.
Chesterfield have fielded an unchanged 11 in the last two defeated games, but with a fully fit squad in mind, fresh changes may be introduced, especially in the form of Sandy Moller "It's a good headache that Sandy Moller is back and we'll look at that on Friday."
The re arranged match is to be held at Crook Town's Millfield Ground, 12 noon kick off, with free admission for all.
